Frequently Asked Questions
What is a wedding content creator?
Essentially, they bridge the gap between professional wedding media (which takes time to edit) and the couple’s desire for instant, high-quality content to share with friends and family.
A Wedding Content Creator specializes in capturing and crafting content related to weddings, including photography, videography, and social media management. They collaborate closely with couples to document their special day, creating visual content that highlights the emotions and memories of the event. With a strong focus on storytelling through visuals, they pay attention to every detail, from the decorations to the expressions of the guests. They are skilled in editing and curating content to produce a final product that aligns with the couple’s vision and style. Wedding Content Creators excel at creating shareable, engaging content that helps couples showcase their big day.
WHY SHOULD A COUPLE HIRE AN EXPERT WEDDING CONTENT CREATOR?
Most people think hiring a content creator for their wedding is only for influencers or social media savvy people. My approach to wedding content creation is documenting the day, exactly as it happened. Raw, emotional, & a little bit silly. Of course, if you have a Tik Tok trend or transition you've been dying to do, I will ALWAYS be down. I edit 2-3 aesthetic reels, you'll have something beautiful to share as you board your plane to your honeymoon!
But the true beauty of hiring a content creator is getting all of the raw footage that you wouldn't get from a videographer. You get to peruse the gallery any time you want to rewatch your first dance, your first kiss, or your entire family partying on the dance floor.
How far in advance should I book?
I am currently booking 2025 and 2026. Reach out as soon as possible to lock in your date - popular dates book fast! Reminder that your date is not secured until the deposit is made and contract is signed!
What will I receive & how do you deliver?
You’ll receive a complete, unedited gallery of videos 24-48 hours after your wedding, including full raw footage of speeches, toasts, dances, and more.
Throughout the day, I take both photos and videos. I deliver the videos unedited in their raw format. Raw meaning that I don’t trim clips, edit audio, slow footage down, or remove voices—this is what sets a wedding content creator apart from a traditional photographer or videographer. I deliver the photos both edited AND unedited. I will usually edit about 100 photos per wedding.
However, I do a quick pass to remove duplicates, blurry shots, clips with inappropriate dialogue, or anything too short or uninteresting. This keeps your gallery from feeling overwhelming while ensuring you still get everything meaningful.
The gallery is hosted online via Dropbox and thoughtfully organized by event for easy access. Your gallery is guaranteed for 12 months via an online link.
How long have you been a wedding content creator? How’d you get into it?
I got married on June 1st, 2024, and I hired a content creator for my wedding (shoutout Yvie!). A couple of weeks after my wedding, my grandmother passed away. She was extremely sick but fought to be at my wedding. A light during this time of grievance was going through my phone and having beautiful videos of my grandmother happily watching me walk down the aisle and having fun on the dance floor. I will cherish those photos and videos forever. Although I had a professional photographer and videographer, neither of them were able to give me as much footage with my grandmother as my content creator. I knew I needed to do what my content creator does, provide the bride with all the moments from her wedding day, big and small. Because most of the time, there's beautiful moments happening that you didn't even know happened.
I have now been doing wedding content creation for 8 months. I quit my other jobs in order to pursue this passion full-time. I truly love what I do, and I can't wait to provide couples with memories to hold on to forever!
What is the difference between a videographer and a content creator?
A wedding videographer and content creator complement each other, providing completely different types of content. Your content creator captures fun, candid moments in real time, perfect for sharing instantly with family and friends, or on social media. Your videographer focuses on carefully shot, highly polished, long-form videos that beautifully document your day.
How do I book my wedding date?
Start by filling out this contact form with details like your wedding or event date, location, and a bit about what you're looking for! The inquiry form states my three content package options —so you can chose which package fits your needs! Then, I will follow-up to schedule a quick call so you can ask any questions and I can get to know you both better. If you decide to move forward, I'll send over a wedding agreement for your review and a request for a 50% retainer to secure your date. Once the agreement is signed, you are officially booked and in my calendar!
